I would say that it does not make a different if you are a woman or man. The one can make it just as far as the other. I think it has more to do with what kind of person you are. Your character would say much more than your sex. Just that women bear children does not make men any less impressive. Men also have children and also have other things to deal with. It seems like they want to say that women live in such a hard time live and because of that, it would be so impressive to take over as head over the IMF. While men, can do the same thing. It is possible of course that men can present even more.
